About LectureMate

What LectureMate is

LectureMate is a study app for students in high school and college, made by DIA Tech. You record a lecture, scan a page or type your notes, and LectureMate turns that material into a summary, flashcards and a practice quiz. Spaced repetition then schedules your reviews so the material sticks.

It also includes a Course Library of 16 ready-made courses, 12 of them aligned to AP exams, with 173 lesson modules and 865 practice quiz questions.

Who it is for

Any student: high school students preparing for class tests and AP exams, and college and university students turning long lectures into something they can review in minutes.

How to get it

LectureMate is a progressive web app. Open lecturemate.app in your browser and install it to your phone, tablet or computer; it then opens like any other app and keeps working offline. Native iOS and Android apps are in development.

The Free plan is free forever with no card required. Pro costs $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year and adds unlimited notes and every AI feature.

Your notes stay yours

LectureMate is local-first: notes, recordings, flashcards and quizzes are stored on your device and never sold. When you use a Pro AI feature, the text needed for that request is sent over an encrypted connection to generate the result. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.

Not to be confused with

LectureMate at lecturemate.app is made by DIA Tech. It is not affiliated with LectMate (lectmate.com), the "Lecture Mate - Clearly" iPhone app, the "LectureMate for Teachers" and "LectureMate for Students" apps on the Microsoft Store, or the University of Edinburgh project of the same name.
